How do you add photos to replies?

How do you add photos to replies, as part of the reply, and not as an attachment?

I can't find the answer in "SEARCH". I find it pretty annoying that the "SEARCH" rejects two letter words.

if you just click "quote" button on the post that you want to include the image of, you should see the image as inline insert, not as attachment.

I will humbly suggest that the site might be improved by adding to the FAQ the authoritative explanation of how to get pictures into posts, a subject that comes up with regularity here, there not being, as it were, a forum devoted to site use issues.

Also, when I click "Quote', I don't see an icon to insert an IMG tag. Pretty sure I've done it manually, though.

You'll have to have your photos online somewhere (flickr or others). Then, once you have your photo pulled up, go to your post and type

. Should display now. There's probably other ways to do this, but this works for me.

What Steve said.
If you do it other way, you will probably end up with small thumbnail in your post - one additional click required to open your image reduces amount of potential viewers a few times. In addition, image files hosted on rff must be compressed badly so they would fit size restrictions.
