Mine is stuffed in bags, boxes and tucked away in my closet
What are some of the ways people display their stuff?
I was thinking of some kind of shelf with glass to keep it dust free , maybe add info placard with details and short history. Maybe display along with sample photos taken with that equipment?
Obviously not many people will uber geek over these things like we do, but as art and industrial engineering the cameras would serve as a point of conversation, I'm sure

Lenses 35/21 Gears 46/20
I have film cameras which were accumulated over time. All nice looking and in use
Moving them from clothes drawers in our bedroom to the media center shelves with glass doors installed in finished basement was great idea, which came from my wife.
Her ideas always right!
Now I have not only cameras visible on the shelves, but countertop with couple of enlargers and sink. Plus another shelf, stand for two DUAL turntables and Marantz amplifier

Not that I have that much to display, but any camera or lens of any value is stored in an 800 lb. safe that is designed for firearm storage. That's where my gear stays when I'm away from home.
I always have a camera and a couple of lenses with me when I'm out and about, so it's not like my kit sits in the safe and never sees the light of day.
