Rolleiflex Shooter
While scanning on my Epson 4490 It does not seem to pick up the film marks off the negatives.
Any tips?

I like that look too. I think you'll only get it for medium and large format. On 35mm, you'll need to go right to the edge, past the sprockets which will give you an uneven border. At least that's what I observed when printing in the wet darkroom.

I am shooting and scanning medium format, prolly should have mentioned that..lol.

For 35mm, I use the medium format film holder, place the negative in the middle and hold it down with anti-newton ring glass.
I imagine you could do the same thing with medium format negatives and a large format film holder.

there is tick box you uncheck in the pro mode, gives you extra room around your scan (even 35mm), you can see some in my fickr. I can't remember off hand what the box is as I'm not at my scanner
