How do your family call your camera?

My wife usually refers to them by make (she also likes photography) but my Bronica RF645 was known as Veronica - are you taking the veronica?

My 8 year old daughter is named Alice
i told her all the letters in her name were marked on the top of my M3...
"oh it must be mine then"

I walked right into that!!

My son, Chromomon... well the problem probably won't come up...

very best,

How many gimps will you carry this time? Typical of my mom to my dad for any camera but small P&S.

My son smiles for the Leica, and puts on a grumpy face for the DSLR.

My wife & kids don't really know one camera from another...but they do know they take film...so when anyone asks if I am shooting digital they can and do say "No"...
I did leave a lens on a table at church last week and my wife saw it...she figured it was mine and grabbed it...

"Your not taking that stupid little camera are you" refers to Contax T or Minox 35 GT. becaus eit does not look like a real camera , she fails to realise the film'sensor' is umpteen times larger thamn the semnsor in her Canon G9.

"Your death camera". Refers to either the MPP VII or MPP VIII.

After a few more comments on the 'death camera' I asked my wife "Why do you call it the death camera?" her reply was that it look just like the camera they used in cowboy films to take photos of the dead peopl in the coffins.
