no comparison. the millennium is definitely the superior lens. 
even the older olympic Nikkor is
many people forget that the original 50/1.4 is a Sonnar and it has that focus shift "feature", too. it was calculated to be shot up-close exceptional for an old lens even wide-open. it then degrades pass the 4-5m mark. plenty of pictures on my blog showing how good it is at closer distances
