Film is the other way
I have no principles ... I decided on that some time ago jan.
Seriously though when you are new to photography it's very easy to be swayed in a direction that may not necessarily be beneficial ... and that's natural because you're learning and you're taking up information from your peers constantly. You have to explore all avenues of course but you should do so out of natural curiosity and not the vicarious needs of others who just want you to assimilate!

I needn't stress this was not shot with a rangefinder, do I?![]()
Your gallery contains only one picture of that bird using a long lens.
Am I missing something?
Maybe I need to clarify my comment, I didn't mean to say there are no bird shooters in this forum. But I suspect bird shooters in this forum also like up-close people (or not) shots using rangefinder cameras; otherwise, they will not hang around this forum because plenty other forums out there that caters to long range bird shooters.

Lot's of other camera forums out in cyberspace but only one RFF. Let's not ever lose our idenity, nor forget what brought us here in the first place. For me it was after buying my 1st rangefinder. A Canonet QL17GIII. I too use other camera's like my Bessa L & I'm cool with the change, although I do miss the activity in the Russian RF forum from years past. Lot's of good laughs.
