The site for the most part seems to be just fine, but i did notice a bug with the home page. I just tried reporting it via the contact us button at the bottom, but I recieved an email saying that my message bounced.

Since the upgrade, for me at least, it has been awful! At times pages for threads take forever to load (often twenty seconds or longer) and posting can be a test of patience at best. I hate to bitch because it is a great site but at times I've just walked away from the computer and gone and done something else because I was in danger of hurling the thing out of the window!
I don't notice anyone else complaining so I'm beginning to wonder if it's just me but I will ask how fellow Aussies are going and users from other parts of the globe!
My connection speed is fine for all other sites but here as often as not it's like dial up!
Same here in the UK ,Keith. This transaction took ages and then I made the mistake of voting in the poll which seemed to slow things even more !
I am on a broadband conection but feely admit that the UK apparently does not have the fastest connections and I assume that here in the north ,things may be worse than in the rest of the country.
The point is that the change seems to have made no improvement at best but seems to have slowed it down at worse. Point is though that it is still a very good site and I have gained much from it.

it worked fine before the upgrade but much of the time it is now noticably worse for me too, so much so that i too have had to leave it, it simply wont load. i was thinking there was something wrong with Telstra broadband but other sites seem to work fine
plenty of times it hangs when posting a reply and loses the text. i am now in the habit of copying text before i hit the button, also, since the ugrade there seems a weird glitch, if i click to edit a post, the text carries on to the right forever and i have to scroll sideways several screen widths

works better now that things have worked thru.... only I am still showing up as banned under my former profile 'turtle' and would like to go back to using that. It has all my PMs etc etc. Please can you resurrect turtle? I have emailed the 'contact us' link a few times and had no reply.

You appear to be THE outstanding glitch in the system ... I have this gut feeling that when you're reinstated as 'turtle' my connection problems will cease!
