I wrote up a blog-entry showing how I did the procedure, albeit not a complete disassembly because I could not get the 4 last screws off.

But at least there are photo's an explanations how to get to that part ^^

I use the CV40 on my CL too. Mine does not squeak, but thank you for documenting this.

(I have read that lithium grease tends to migrate and is not the best choice for focus helicoils.)

I've used it on all my Jupiters and it hasn't sagged yet.

It's a strange can of pressurized grease, where one part evaporate and leave the grease behind, seems to stick quite well.

But good to know. (all other grease I've tried has been to thick)
