"Flim? You want flim?"
I have seven LTM 50's. Four cameras came with a 50mm lens mounted, the rest were just items on my search for the "holy grail" of a perfect 50mm lens. I now know there is no ONE perfect 50. All are good in their own way.
I have three 50mm Canon FD mount lenses as well...

I selected one.
But I have two.
One on my Leica and another on Nikon.
Does my F100 count too?

In RF interchangable lenses, only two. If you count SLR, I am not sure, but I would guess about 20, some the same brand, and f/stop.

I love the 50mm focal length and it's great that there are just so many lenses to sample from such a long period of time. There's more diversity in this focal length than any others, supply is plentiful and often prices are modest.
I currently own about seven rangefinder 50's but have had about the same again in different types that I've sold.
My personal favourites are the Zeiss C-Sonnar and DR Summicron. I sold my Summilux-ASPH as it wasn't a look I wanted, though I appreciated its technical brilliance.
I'm still very keen to continue trying many of the others I've not used yet - particularly pre-ASPH Summilux and the Voigtlander Nokton f1.5.

I have one for m-mount and right now 5 or 6 in s-mount with thinking about getting one more. Ideally I want 5cm f/1.1, 5cm f/1.4 Nikkor-S, 5cm f/1.4 Millenium, 5cm f/2 and ZM 50mm f/1.5 for s-mount. Way to much, no idea why I want them all. Really the f/2 is all I really should have.

One, the nokton 50/1.5. Well, two if you count my pentax 43mm as a 50mm....
Both going up for sale soon as I pare down to just a 35/90 combo.
Wait, I also have a 50/4 macro tak and 50/1.4 smc tak. But I only use them on my e-p2 so they count as 100mm and not 50!

Three for my FED-2d: Industar 61, 53mm/f2.8; two Industar-50s, 50/3.5.
For my M42 SLRs: Super-Takumar 55/2, Meyer-Optik Oreston 50/1.8, Auto Rikenon 50/2, Fuji 55/2.2.
On my Bell and Howell badged Canon EE, the oddball Canon EX 50/1.8.

5 or more, but definitelly not "oh dear!", it's perfectly normal, conservative I'd even say. That is considering they're of different mounts
Summicron
Jupiter
Jupiter
Industar
NIKKOR S
NIKKOR F
Why do I own them? Coz most came with cameras and coz I shoot them.
One Jupiter is on a long term loan to a friend, might as well keep it. Another one's on Fed, not used but it ain't worth much either. Summicron came with M4 is a super-saver deal. NIKKOR S is the best and I love it. NIKKOR F is 1.2 and I like it too.

To many - few used
To many - few used
I have, in a very short time managed to gather together a large number of 50s.
1 Jupiter 3(?) - great lens love it.
2 Jupiter 8s - both work fine.
2 Industar - one OK 2nd one with close focus issues
1 very old battered Cron - really bad condition, but was so cheap I got it anyway
Canon 2.8 - came with a P that I "aquired"
Having just got an M5 I really need to cut back on silly stuff and get some more "nice glass".

Let's see, Summicron, Summilux, Heliar, Elmar, Summitar. Is that too many? It is not.

Why, because they all draw differently, look and feel different, ...
I do not have any two identical 50's.

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!! Hahaha
Should have thought harder regarding my poll options.
Perhaps '10 or more - Oh Dear!!' might be a more appropriate maximum =D
Seeing that it is perfectly normal to own multiple copies of 50mm.... Just purchased myself the Voigtlander 50mm f2.5 Color Skopar =D. Can't wait. That makes it 3.
Austerby: I had the Zeiss C Sonnar. Great lens with lovely bokeh but never quite warmed up to it. Ended up getting the 50 lux preasph. Loved the images from the first roll. Had to sell my Sonnar
