Own 4 for different systems. 1 R summicron, 1 M collapsible summicron, 1 Zeiss Opton Sonnar 1,5 and 1 Zeiss S Sonnar 1,5 - the latter 2 for a Contax IIa and useable on M2 and M6 using Amedeo's adapter.

DR-Summicron
"Rigid" Chrome Summicron
Canon 50mm f/1.4 ver. II
Jupiter-8

I used to have a few more...

3 for rangefinder. 2 more for OM. Several more if I include 'effective FL' for other formats.

I don't mind a couple more for RF.

I just have two - nokton 50 f1.5 and cron 50 dr. I have a very small dehumidifier cabinet and that helps to keep my gear size in check.

Wow, Vikko! A Noct-Nikkor AND an FD 55 1.2 ASPH. Have you ever compared the two?

P.S. The IIIG you listed the other day just about killed me. Glad it went quickly.

Yeah, trying to raise funds, and IIIg needed to go.

No, I'm not great at comparing lenses, but I did want to get the "pinnacle of lenses" for my Nikon F2, and Canon F1.

Am thinking of selling the F1 kit, though......

Oh, yes, one Summarit.

And one Voigtlander Heliar, on my Bessa II.

Zeiss Opton on my 531/2.

I have a Kodak Retina III also, don't know off the top of my head what it has. Maybe Schneider.

My god, that's a lot, isn't it?

I've got 5, 2 in the pentax screw mount, and three in the leica thread mount. I bought two separately, and the rest came with camera bodies I bought.

Just four... from which three came recently.

1 Summicron (latest version)
1 collapsible 'cron (1955)
1 Canon ltm f1.2
1 Nikon-S f1.4

My Nikon AF f1.4 is not included... and that makes it 5.

Good grief...

Personality and differant looks.

I voted 3 and didn't count my Nikon 55 macro, or my Mamiya 50/4.0.

See below.

If we're itemizing, in the 50mm department I have:

LTM:
1) Industar 10
2) Industar 61 L/D
3) Jupiter 8
4) Jupiter 3
5) Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar - conversion to LTM
6) Canon 1.8
7) Canon 1.4
--- (I had a nice Industar 26M, but stupidly, I sold it)

FD:
Canon 1.8 (two of these)
Canon 1.4

Total: 10!

Summarit 1.5
Came with the IIIc, some haze and a lot of fine scratches on the front element. The result is a slightly dreamy, glowing, lower-than-normal-for-summarit look. I like it but only for very specific shots. I'm on the fence about if this is enough of a reason to keep it.

Industar 61 L/D
First LTM lens I picked up, well in advance of a camera. I wanted it for its sharp, high contrast reputation. I've been trending towards lower contrast looks since then, but still appreciate it for specific work.

Jupiter 8
Just picked this up yesterday as a middle ground between the Summarit and the 61. A friend has one on a FED2 that produces excellent results. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

On the SLR side, I have a 50mm 1.8D. Simple, gets the job done. I picked up a 1.4 advertised as a AI lens but it was a late non AI lens... I'm still deciding what to do with it.

How many do I own? Three.

* Elmar-M 50/2.8 collapsible (last version)
* Nokton 50/1.5 ASPH. (LTM)
* Summilux-M 50/1.4 ASPH.

I only posses two of these, though I've paid in full for the Summilux. Still waiting. :(

Fewer than I used to have. In 35mm format:

M: DR Summicron
LTM: Nikkor 50/1.4
LTM: Hexanon 50/2.4
OM: 50/1.8 MIJ
Nikkor non-AI 55/1.2

Still a lot if you consider that I don't like the focal length
