How many 50's is enough?

That was a typo. The rigid Cron is in M mount.
I wish I had the Hexanon or the CV 50/1.5 to try out.

You never included those in any of your 50mm lens test, huh? They're both great lenses, very modern in sharpness, contrast and color palette -- very different from the bulk of our stables of fifties.

I have none at the moment. Sold my last one (ZM Planar) and bought a 35 'cron as my "normal". The 50 feels more like a short tele to me. I get claustrophobic! ;)

I tried out lenses that members here sent me. I did try the CV 35/1.7 but not the CV 50/1.5. The Hexanon was also not volunteered.

The 50mm has less distortion for portraits than a 35 mm lens will have, with enlarged noses ... Etc.

I used to fear that, but found that most of my people shots (which is primarily what I shoot) are not very tight, so distortion doesn't really factor in. I don't get up close enough to make it happen.

I would like one 50mm. I bought my M7 with a 35mm, but my original intention was to get a 50 cron. At the time they were in short supply in the UK. I would still like just one 50 though.
