Coming from the Canon 5D Mark II, the battery of the Fuji X-E1 doesn't impress. Maybe it's not the battery, but the amount of power it uses up. In any case, I wanted to know how many batteries you Fuji owners own. I'm planning to buy a few more to carry as spares.
Also, have any of you tried the third party batteries that are available? They are a lot cheaper than the original Fuji batteries so I want to know if they're worth it.
Thanks!

I have the X Pro and 2 Fuji batteries. I've never needed the second while out and about, but I'm not a machine gun shooter, and rarely use the EVF. Also, I keep the quick start option disabled. I guess if I were to shoot a lengthy wedding and reception, I might opt for a third for a back up.

I have two batteries for each Fuji body. In some cases I don't think having three batteries would be excessive. I think it depends on how much you use the LCD.
The main reason three batteries would be useful is the batteries take a long time to charge.

I have one Xpro and 4 batteries. One is a fuji and the other are Wasabi brand. I have gone into 3 batteries on a shoot, so it is nice to have extra powa.

I use these batteries from B&H for Canon cameras and they work very well. Also have double A nickel metal hydride Pearstone batteries and I'm very satisfied with them.
Haven't used this battery, however, if it performs like the ones I've bought it will work quite well.

Hope this helps you.

i have an original fuji battery and one pearson that I bought from B&H.
I can go with 300-400 JPEGs with one battery before having to change it.
I might buy one more later on but so far, if I ever ran out of battery, always have my spare with me.
beside.. it's easier to walk-around with the x100 and spare battery than a bulky 5DII and lens, which BTW I have 2 Canon batteries

The original Fuji battery and a cheaper version from (I think) Hanel.
I still think a whole battery's worth of exposures is an extravagance in film terms, so I rarely need to use the spare. If I am using the camera every day then I swap the fully charged unused battery in at the end of the day and put the other on charge.

4 myself, 2 Fuji's & 2 cheapies. After using the X-Pro1 most of the week in freezing conditions I have found the battery drain in the cold weather pretty significant and glad I had all 4.

I have 3 additional batteries for the XPro (no names from amazon) since I ran out of power on a trip.... I didn`t notice any difference between the original and the no nomes. Running out of power is worse than spending 12 Euros for an additional battery....
