It takes me a bit of time to burn threw a roll shooting a majority of multiple exposures.
Sometimes I hold a shot for days in camera until the second shot comes along.
So three cameras and some time...

Thanks for everyone's participation! Looks like 2 or 3 cameras loaded at one time is pretty common. When I'm keeping things lean that's about right for me. Usually it's 1 camera with 100 iso color film, 1 camera with 400 iso B+W film, and 1 Polaroid camera loaded up with either Fujifilm FP3000B or FC100C.

By the way, I forgot we recently purchased a Fujifilm Instax 210 for a birthday party earlier this summer. It now sits on our kitchen counter loaded and ready for the occasional family shot (this morning it was my 3 year old wearing mom's reading glasses). I guess that makes 9 for me!

I like to shoot candid / decisive moment photographs and I think this is one reason I end up with so many loaded cameras. It works well for me to have loaded cameras with me and/or around me all the time so I'm ready to snap when an image presents itself.

Pikapig: Agreed, I really enjoy getting older rolls back from the lab and their associated surprises.

axiom: I would be inclined to count each film back, but having never shot using film backs I really couldn't say? Up to you…

EDIT: I load with Rollei Retro 100 and 400S, Kodak EDUPE slide film for crossing, Kodacolor200, Schlecker 200 and 400, Kodak Portra 160VC and 400VC in 120 and 220.

The pair of M7 bodies have HP5 in 'em, an MP has Adox 100 PET and the CL has FP4. Oh, and the T3 has Neopan 1600 and the GR1S has HP5.
