How many M's?

🙂 With all the naysayers about film, I doubt that we have anything to worry about with film going away...YMMV. Leica appears to be striving to achieve the balance between digital and film which leaves me with the following question:

How many Leica M's are produced each year?

I remember reading someplace, that Leica was making about 12,000 M6 cameras/year back in the mid-1990's. Doubt if it's that high now.
