Something "fishy" about the upgrade

Most M8 users will have owned their camera for an average of 12 months by now.

Which film leica has ever needed a CLA after this time?

How many shots have you made with your M8 in which period of time?

Me---- 18.000 and no major problems yet
 
24.000 and counting, some minor problems, but i also had some problems that needed repair with my M6 back in the day, and that camera had much less use than my M8....

I cant see anything "fishy" about an optional upgrade...

Nothing fishy, but rather a good move with the upgrade.
I can't wait to see what upgrade for digital section will be offered.
 
Thousands (I'm not sure how many, because the counter re-set a couple of times).

Doesn't make the upgrade sound fishy to me. Not dure if I'll get it or not.

I've had the M8 for almost 10 months and haven't had any noteworthy problems.

I think I just turned the corner of 9000 pictures.

Everyone a keeper! ;->
