How many RFF members earn their living from photograhy?

I was wondering how many RFF'ers earn their living(or part of it) from photography?

I work as cameraman so I guess I earn my money with photographs 24/25 fps

Part of my job is providing the production publicity photos for every show we do...so I guess a part of my living is paid photography...always gives me a buzz to see one of my shots in print somewhere...

I'm currently working on a reliable 'living' to cover the costs of my photography 😀 😀

one day I'll get paid big money for taking photo's though 😉

Part of my incomes (about 50%) comes from restoring antique cameras and repairing.
Hope that another part of my incomes were from selling pictures.

I'd have to be amazingly good to cover what I make in my day job. But then Photography would be my day job and I would have to take up Auditing as a hobby them. Doesn't sound too fun.

All my income comes from commercial photography, but I also do a couple video jobs a year for marketing or training uses.

I'm a photographer for a large public organisation and shoot everything from portraits, news, landscapes, commercials and just about everything else you can think of. Extremely varied but I'm the only photographer here and consequently very busy and very lonely ( boo-hoo!)

The only thing I'd give this up for is to follow my dream path of working for a photojournalism agency ( Magnum anyone?!) Why oh why did Picture Post and the rest get replaced by rubbish celebrity gossip mags??!!

Never been paid for a photo myself. Of course, I'm still in the beginning stages of learning something more than the "point-the-inexpensive-picture-capturing-thingy-over-in-that-direction-and-press-this-button" style of photography 🙂

I used to do weddings and potraits on the side. I used this income to pay for my photography hobby. I'll still do portraits, but I'm out of weddings now. I've never screwed up and want to quit that while I'm ahead. I used to enjoy the pressure of wedding work, but I'm over that now.
