I'll only be in Paris for 5 days ( + one at the beginning ), and I've been there fairly often in the past ten years.
Where else are you going this time?
Cheers,

Get rid of the boxes. That's what I did on 3 different trips going to Brazil, Paris, Europe. Removes as much waste as possible.
If you take a roll a day, that should be enough.
Brazil, I took enough for 2 rolls a day for two weeks. Shot a roll of 220 a day, in a RF645. Came back with film.
Paris, I hardly got through a roll a day, 5 day trip. That was with the SWC. Came back with film.
Europe, away for a whole month, I packed a roll for every other day, and by midway point I went and bought an extra couple boxes of 5 just because I was afraid I'd run out.
Don't skimp on film.

I'm setting out for another month in Shanghai tomorrow. I've packed 300 feet of film (about 60 rolls). I suspect I'll need another 20-40 rolls based on my prior trips, however, I know the city very well so getting more film is not an issue. My advice is, if you don't know the city well, bring more film than you need. You don't want to run out!

We're hanging out in the Dordogne River area ( Sarlat ) for the first week ( minus the initial day in Paris ). Then Amboise as home-base in the Loire Valley area. And then back to Paris for an appropriate stay.
I only shot digital the last time I went to the Loire Valley, and have never been to the Dordogne. I've got a fairly good idea of how film I want to Paris, but the amount for the other places will take a bit more scrutiny, which has been made easier thanks to all the comments here.
