how many rolls

Or more is less, or... wait, no... now Im just confused.

I have just been in a picture mood lately, sometimes Im not, but for the most part I am much happier when I am taking a lot of pictures.

I always have a camera with me but I don't shoot every time I've got a camera. Sunday, I had a specific idea in mind so I shot something like 30 frames(finished one roll and started another) in two different parts of the small stream I was at. I've got 6 or 7 rolls waiting to be processed. :bang: What I'm willing to show anyone is a tiny percentage of what I shoot. I'm trying to get that number up some...

I traveled to China last month and shot 38 rolls of Fuji Superia 400 in 19 days. Totally surrounded by digital, I was the only person in our tour group with film. But at least they don't have to scan all those negs!

I spent the month of June in Oaxaca Mexico and shot about 35 rolls of 35mm film and 45 rolls of medium format. It was almost all APX 100. I developed it all there with rodinal 1:100.

Great stuff.

Yeah, I've been out shooting... 12 rolls of Fuji 220, mostly NPH 400, some NPZ 800. Plus two rolls of 220 Tri-X that will get dunked in Diafine. Three cameras are currently loaded with film...

About 2 rolls of Acros, one roll of Tri-X and a some 200 exposures with a small digital camera, I think.

In November I will probably just do 1 roll of Tri-X it seems, unless I get really in the mood. November tends to be the slowest month of the year for me. It is just wet and dark, maybe I should try and capture that, hmm...

They are even giving Superia-800 (that is about to expire) away at the local Fuji photo center. I grabbed a bunch, I have not tried that stuff before. Maybe I should try it on the November city darkness...

Oh boy, am I ashamed; I've only managed to get 16 exposures on a roll of NPH this month.. So it's not even developed yet..

And I can't even blame it on the dSLR, it's also seen just over a dozen shots..

The thing is, with daylight saving time gone since the last weekend of October, I go to work in the dark, and I return home when it's just about getting dark..

Let's hope we get a couple of nice sunny weekends..

Since september when my studies at the university started, I haven't been shooting a lot 🙁 . The last month I've just shot one roll of Tmax100, one roll of kodak bw400cn and one roll of TriX, all with my fed-2

I just sorted out my film backlog this morning...

14 rolls from a couple of visits to London
9 rolls from Amsterdam
9 rolls a festival back in September
7 rolls messing around here in York

That's more like the last two months, but I've already dealt with 32 rolls from Bulgaria in the same period so I think it counts.

I know it's quality not quantity that counts in the end, but you asked...

I am in the process of recruiting an assistant. Hopefully her desire to learn will at last at least long enough to get that lot diafined and contact printed!

Let's see, October was 2 rolls of Kodak 400 C41 B&W and 2 rolls of Elite Chrome 100. Slow month for me but I had other things going on and wasn't really in the mood to shoot most of the time. This month I've shot 2 rolls of Kodak UC400 so far, I may shoot more or I may just spend time catching up on scanning; it all depends on the weather.

Vincent - very nice B&W work on your site! Love the look of your photos, the tonality. How are you developing? (I'm afraid I don't do my own processing however, but am always interested what people use to develop). Thanks,
-Mark

October shooting:

Digital Equivalent of 40 Rolls (Trip to SW Colorado, Northern New Mexico, Fall Color
Fuji NPS 6 rolls (Wedding)
HP5+ 35mm 8 rolls
JC 100 120 film 3 rolls

Total for the month 57 rolls, about twice what I normally shoot.
