How many time

Hi all,How many time you spend on visitings of forums? 🙂For me the forums are my life.And for you?

Way too much time on forums, just not so much on RFF anymore. I used to try and keep up with Topica, Delphi, Nelsonfoto, Photo.net, Ace Forums, BestStuff, Yahoo, MSN, eBay groups, various camera repair sites, The Camera Collector, Rangefinder Forums and a few others, but had only so much time per day. I had 46 groups in Yahoo alone so I've culled most and only do Kar Yan Mak's repair site (very helpful), The Camera Collector (friendly folk), Photo.net (often too many pompous or condescending people but interesting cameras), and of course RFF (one of my favourites but I don't post much anymore as everything seems to be Leica or Zeiss these days). Still spend about two hours per day between these and of course, eBay.

I know this was asked back when I first started, but I came across this thread in a search. So I will reply...

I spend roughly 1 hour/ day on photography forums on a usual day, but over the last 1,5 months I have been on more because i have been at home recuperating after a heart attack. Still, even beyond my recovery time-out-days, it seems to me there are guys on RFF who spend much more of their free time than me online...

But to say that RFF or any other online forums are 'my life' would be to go much too far. I prefer to spend time in my darkroom or to be out shooting or with my non-virtual friends than to be relaxing and reading online forums. YMMV

BTW, to the user "wierdcollector" --> i always wanted to ask you whether your RFF-name was a misspelling of weirdcollector or if it meant something more obscure?

... maybe the OP went to the dark-side of DSLR and hangs out at dpreview only since then ? 😀😉
