Forget to readjust your ISO to match the film speed? I felt like an idiot after running a roll of Kodak Gold 400 through my Canonet only to find out it was still set at 80. :bang: Of course, I blame this on my noviceness to film cameras, hehe. Here are two shots (the best of the worst) where the loss of color and extreme grain were too much to salvage what would have been two very decent shots. Well, at least only half the roll was wasted.

And a couple from the same roll that actually turned out right. What gets me is I lost some nice Renaissance Fair shots on frames 1-7!!

Be thankful you went 2 stops overexposed. You have pictures. Not bad pictures either. Go 2 stops the other way and you won't have poop!😀

Maybe that's why a lot of folks settle on one or two emulsions. Cuts down the variables.

Good luck!

True. I'm normally in the habit of underexposing, but I think it's the battery that's throwing off my meter. Trying on this next roll to see if this is the case.

Yikes! I haven't done that yet, but then again I don't keep the lens cap on at all but a filter of some sort. I guess that helps me to prevent this mistake.

Nearly as many times as I have taken photos of the lens cap. 😛

well the good news is the wind farm is not going anywhere. anytime soon. It should be reproducable 😱 I plan on getting out there sometime for some shots of the windmills. I used to drive by there returning from Calexico [staffing a medical clinic] I was always too tired to stop and shoot. 🙁
