How Much Are Used Scanners Going For These Days?

I've got my Minolta Scan Elite II that I'm going to sell (not the 5400, or the 5400 II, this is the Dimage Scan Elite II with 2820 dpi) but having searched Ebay and a number of other places I haven't been able to figure out it's "value" or what the current prices are for this scanner.

I've seen prices for the 5400 go for a lot of $$$ but when I post it here I don't want to "gouge" folks ya know?

Any input is appreciated.

I sold one of those to Sircarl a while back. I forget the price. Perhaps PM him, he might remember (sorry to be so woolly!)

Hi Dave,

I have a ScanElite - F2900 (your scanner's predecessor). These have been selling for under $100 on Da 'bay. If I am not mistaken, your scanner uses USB interface and firewire.

Minolta Scanelite's are underrated. If you scanner is in really great condition, I think you deserve every bit as much as a Nikon Coolscan IV goes for, but probably not may people will spend that much, not knowing the name.

Depending on condition, may advice would be to sell it in the $200 -$299 range - but a good condition one, I think, deserves more.
