How much do you pay to get E-6 processed?

I have been reading many labs are closing down or phasing out E-6 process and people have to rely on "send out" services. Had a thought if those people could be offered to ship their film to lab I frequent (but do not own or have financial interest) - that would be good for both parties, and me too, as I would have lab near me, keeping E-6 process readily available. Now they process E-6 twice a week, using dip and dunk equipment, from 135 up to 8x10. They process also negatives and do scanning, of course, if that would be subject of interest.

Besides of processing, costs of logistics to get film in and send it back are important, to figure out if final price would be competitive. Probably this is a weak point.

But I would like to see your figures to get idea if whole idea has potential at all. If you already get good enough price then why bother.

I used to use Samy's in CA, but just started using someone more local, CRC (now with Vista): http://vistaimaginggroup.com/e-6-processing for $8/roll

They do mail order (new) but I can stop by in person if I'd like as well. Super happy with their R-Type prints as well.

I use either Precision Camera or else a local lab called Colortek. Neither are cheap, but both excellent work. I love slide film and will keep on shooting it as long as it's around--or can be processed.

I realize I haven't answered your question. PC is around $14 a roll (35mm) for develop and scan, while Colortek is around $20.

Local lab charges $7 for 35mm/120, $2.75 per sheet of 4x5. I can get it done for a little bit less via Walmart send-out, but I'll happily pay the extra $2 to not wait 2 weeks.

€6.00 for 135/120, €12.00 for 220 development tuesday to friday each day. So they are ready next day.

Genie in the UK I think does £1.99 per roll for 120, you've got to add the VAT and postage, but it still comes out pretty cheap.

18€ a 35mm roll in the local photographers shops, 6€ (35mm without frames) if I send to the main city labs/photoshops, etc!

80 dollars for developing kit( 5liters in total) and about 40 minutes for the whole process of development😉
