How much do you value a CLA when buying a camera?

Rebuilding an old LTM is no big deal and it can function as new, just get reputable shop.

Lenses clean for haze is fine, most of the time just look for another lens.

Late model or obscure cameras? Lots of luck... you may be lucky!

I have a 1961 Nikon SP (titanium shutter) and nobody had opened its hood ever when I bought it. The speeds were spot on when I bought it in 2007 and still are today.

I'd be very suspicious about the quality of a CLA done eight years ago on the same camera which, as a result, would now make it have off speeds.

About oil on the aperture blades : even on RF lenses it's a problem which must be treated systematically because 1/more than often the oil gets sticky, as a result the blades become hard to move, worst case one blade riveted pin can break (disaster) 2/oil on the blades very often means oily deposits on the optical surfaces inside the lens (not good).
