I have:

19 rolls of Arista Premium 400
5 rolls of Foma Fomapan 100
3 rolls of Ilford Delta 3200
2 rolls of Ilford PanF 50
1 roll of Fuji Provia 400x
38 rolls of Kodak Gold 200
1 roll Kodak Ektra 100
6 rolls of Fuji Fujicolor Pro 400H

All 35mm.

We have changed our diet as our fridge has been taken over by my films.
Most of it is bulk rolls of 100ft, FP5, FP4, PanF, Plus-X, Panatomic (my favorite), a large can of Kodak Vision3 (I think it is 400ft, I have to check), and many rolls of Orwo, Svema, SFX and Portra (actually just two rolls of it, and the only color rolls I have).

I live in Asia but buy my film from the US mail order. To make the high shipping worthwhile I need to buy bulk quantities. I have a commercial freezer the kind shops keep their ice cream. I also buy film locally and also stock up on 8x10 Acros whenever I am in Japan. I have enough film to last me 10 years.

I tend to buy in bulk from Freestyle (in Australia film costs a fortune; I wish I could buy it locally for a reasonable price). I usually buy about 100 rolls at a time. I wish I had stocked up on Arista Premium 400 (Tri-X) while it was still available - I am now considering a switch to Kentmere 400 in bulk rolls or Arista Edu Ultra 400.

Because of this thread, I got motivated to take an inventory of what I've got in a small dedicated film freezer. I organized everything by flavor, size, and expiration date. It's so much better to know precisely what's there and which to use by date, and what needs to be replenished, etc... Thanks for starting this poll/thread!!

(fwiw, I currently have 248 rolls of 35mm and 715 sheets of 4x5.)

As of the moment I have 3 rolls of Arista Premium 400, a roll of 120 Delta 100 and a roll of 120 Velvia 50. I usually only have 3-5 rolls around the house, although I will be making a large order from B&H in the next week or two, so that'll change soon!

I'm not nearly at the Tom A level (nor do I shoot nearly as much as he does either) but I do have freezer full of stuff. So off the top of my head

100' - Neopan 1600
2x100' - Neopan 100
20-24rnd rolls - Neopan 400
100' - DOuble X
8x100' - Tmax 100
2x100' - Agfa 80
100' - Tmax 400
100' - Ilford Dmax
100' - Arista Premium 100
100' - Arista Premium 400
100 - Arista EDU 400
100' - Iford F 50
100' - Agfa 25

8x32rnd rolls of Iford 3200

Not sure what 120 I have, but at least 25+ rolls of various stuff.

Third of the freezer section -
- 2 boxes of 4x5
- 3 boxes of 9x12
- 2 100 foot rolls of 35mm
- 15 to 20 rolls of 120
- 5 to 10 rolls of 35
- 3 rolls of APS

Refrigerator section
- 5 rolls of 120
- 6 rolls of bulk loaded 35

I am mainly shooting digital these days, so I expect this to last a long time.

I think a better question is how long would it take for you to shoot all the film you have?

Someone's stash that takes one year to shoot may be one months worth to another.

definitely buy as i go, when i go on long trips i usually stock up on 10 rolls (just filling up a JCH film holder). In HK there is no need to stockpile as there is still a 35mm film renaissance in this city.

I prefer to buy here in Toronto.
If we don't support local stores, they will not stock in future..
Bite the bullet and use them.
I buy from Downtown Camera,Henrys and Aden.
I will only order from B+H for items NOT stocked.
Also not in Summer..:bang: fearing heat damage..
Kentmere 400 in bulk. Perfect film for my usage.
Portra 220. 6 rolls.
Fuji 400.24 exp. 18 rolls.(Shoppers Drug brand).
T-Max 36 exp. Hate the way it curls in scanner..
FP-4. 36 exp. Love the flatness and tonal scale.
I will make a buy soon.
Kentmere 400 or 36 exp 20 rolls.
wait to see what happens Black Friday..
may go higher end digital camera, a Dslr or EVF.:D

Just managed to track down another 110 rolls of Provia 400X in 120 size (expiry 2016/06, Japan stock). So now 200 of that, and 100-200 of everything else. Looking forward to Film Ferrania coming back to life and will support that..., so its probably going to trend up, not down over the next year or so.

Some friends and I were chatting at a recent photo exhibit opening, and one of them asked if any of us still shot 4x5 film. Everyone's hand shot into the air! This man's friend - an avid medium/large format shooter - had recently died, and his family didn't know what to do with the gentleman's film. The morning after the exhibit I met my friend, who loaded 4(!!!) plastic trash bags FULL of film in to my car!!! 120, 4x5, 5x7, even some 8x10!! After taking it home, my wife and I spent about 3 hours sorting it by format, type, etc. I then divvied it up in to 3 sets, called 2 of the other guys that had been in the original conversation, and passed along their share to them. Yes, I do have a freezer dedicated to such things, and whatever I'm certain I will never use is in the process of being passed along to my film students, so they can save some $$$ too! This gentleman's family has been told of how their generosity will impact more than just one film shooter's life. A tremendous gift...

(I don't remember the count right now, but there was in excess of 300+ rolls of 120, not to mention the boxes of 4x5...)
