Not bad. As long as you have three corners and that rangefinder spot you're good to go...sorta...I do find blockage of about that scale annoying with my 35 f2/hood and Nokton 50 1.5/hood, but it usually doesn't hurt.

Come on...nobody ever asks how much the bellow of a Bessa-II 6x9, the pride of the German camera industry of the early 1950's obscures the finder -- but with the 0.95 this is always the first question to ask. Actually the Bessa-II masks about 1/3, while a 0.95/50 mounted at a Canon-7 masks about 20%, and it's finder is much clearer and more precise. In addition, you don't have a choice of lenses at a Bessa 6x9 - you have to live with!
Canon produced a series of 50mm lumi-finders then, but I never seen one in ebay.
cheers, Frank

And I'll bet there are still a lot of us who want to buy it, but need a while to accumulate the money before we make offers! Don't give up yet...
If anyone buys Wimpler's Canon 50mm F0.95 lens and needs a Canon 7 to put behind it, I will sell this body and user-case to them for $200 Plus Shipping.

As you can read in the thread, I sold the lens and decided to keep the body. I have used it for a few more rolls, and have the 50mm F1.5 on it now. This is the body that I used to rebuild and adjust the focus on the F1.5 lenses. I know the RF is accurate as I tested it against the focus at the film plane.
Offer only open to someone buying the Canon 50mm F0.95 here at RFF. Can you tell I like that lens?
