That is a good price especially as it has the leather case but just check to see it has the incident cover that goes over the front. There are about 8 variations of these and all have subtle differences but basically there is two types. One has a fixed foot and one that swivels. One will accept the clip on booster while the others don’t and something that most would not know unless you had the two types, there is a difference in the ASA scales. Handy and collectable. I have recorded sales as high as $173 and as low as $20 so at $60 I would grab it and run…..😀
Yes that's good. I was lucky my first Canon RF had a working CanonMeter. I wouldn't have considered such an old selenium meter usefull or reasonable accurate, but it's a great help, at least with B&W and color negative film at daylight, and a fast working tool.
But does it work? I have two. Both are accurate. When the needles decide it's time to move. One of the meters is better than the other in this regard. They both require a gentle touch to make the needles move. I bought the second one to get the case & have a "parts" meter just in case. I'm sure the Meter Guy in California (search this site for his address) can make these meters "like new."
ps: The canon light meter case holds the DR Summicron goggles perfectly. That is how I am using mine.
