How much is a Bessa R worth?

Hello everyone!

I currently own a Bessa L with the 15mm heliar and 35mm Skopar (classic), and in most occasions, i was not missing the rangefinder very much.

But still, i would like to use also a longer lens, like a 50mm for portraits, and i guess there the RF would help.
So I'm now looking for a Bessa R. What would be a reasonable price for only the body, seccond hand in good condition?

I now that the 15mm is not RF-able, what about the 35mm Skopar? I guess yes, but I'm not 100%...

I need it before my holiday in 3 weeks, so I don't have much time to check out the stores in my region...

I sold mine for 100 EUR, battered optically but OK technically. I've seen them here for anything between $150 and $300.

The 35mm Skopar has RF coupling.

I sold my Bessa-R for, iirc, £120 ($240) in almost mint condition.

I sold 2, one on the bay and one here on RFF, both for around 200 USD. Both were in great condition.

Then one last question before i start "hunting" for one; How about the 15mm and the viewfinder i use it with on the Bessa L.

I guess it gives an average direction, but how big is the difference in the final picture? As the viewfinder sits further away from the lens...


Or can i forgett about those few mm?

The few mm make no real difference at all with such a wide angle of view.
