Hi All,
I've been tryiing to get my hands on a 90 f2 ASPH, 35 1.4 Lux ASPH and 50 1.4 Lux ASPH for a week now, I got the 90 and 35 as they're readily available but have been having a hard time finding a 50. Somebody local may have one for sale but since I don't have any point of reference what does a 50mm Summilux ASPH go for used in good condition?

Thanks,
Sam

I might be putting up a Black paint LHSA 50 asph Lux that is in new condition, with hood, case etc. Did a test roll with it, but took my lighter and cheaper ZM planar to Afghanistan and so it has not been used apart from a few dozen frames to test it at home. I am still in two minds about selling it, as I cannot get over what a beautifully solid and well made lens it is (not to mention stellar performance), but if you are interested let me know. Price would be a little more than listed above but not madly so (and certainly cheaper than a new LHSA/regular one. Kinda splurged on some other gear and know I have to sell it but trying to pull myself out of this state of denial. Can you sense the conflict ;) It is an sbsolutely delicious lens on BP bodies of course, but I dont know if I can reconcile the expense over the ZM when I could put it towards a 0.58 body...oh, no I mean pay off the other gear I just bought. [dig, dig, dig, whimper]

If you want the best built and best corrected 50/1.4, this is it, cost be damned. In comparison, the 50/1.5 Sonnar is slightly less flare prone but rather soft wide open until about f/2.8 where it starts to get sharp.

Nice, thanks so much for the link, like the other posters mentioned it is a pita to find one of these guys.

The one that Marc linked to is chrome and so is of brass construction. A little heavier than the black but probably worth it. The lens has a UV filter on the front and the price is excellent - looks like a good buy.
