39, but I want to be 22 again, please.
Actually, I want to be 22 with a Leica (I actually did when I was 22 but went with a Canon EOS). Let you friend have the "cool" camera. You concentrate on photography, and find a cool lady to share it with.

jun,
we have a long thread telling our ages that is started already.
maybe do a search and add yours to that one.there are aspects to age that have nothing to do with how long you have lived but what we have learned from our time here. maybe you have learned much.

And ignor other people. Use the camera that you enjoy, even if it is a Leica!

Has your friend ever considered that old guys know a bit more sometimes? I'm 45 and no exception to the rule. Heck! I actually know a lot!

40, but who's counting? I don't think choosing to use a rangefinder has anything to do with age, but more to do with "enlightenment"

it won't surprise me that a guy at your age could be bothered by this issue ...
lots of my photography buds are as young as you are, they are really in photography so the only care what they feel right for them .... enjoy M4, it's a great camera!

Hehe so weird you get picked on for using M4-P... I never get picked on when I use my M7... However, people do look at me in a weird way when I use my Leica-0... I am 25.

53 and very happy to be the age I am.
Age, like beauty, is always subjective.
Someone 12 will think a 22 yo man is "old", while a 80 yo man will think I am young. It's like the old Frank Sinatra song, one should he "Young at Heart".
Does remembering that song make me old? LOL.
