How practical is the pull-to-MF focus ring in use?

… because the lenses aren't small, consider a 2-lens kit. like the 16/1.4 and 56/1.2 which i carry all the time for lowlight and small club shooting. or the 23/1.4 and 56/1.2. or the 14/2.8 and 35/1.4 if you're a wide type.

The 16/1.4 and 35/2 is a nice walk-around set as well; 24 and 50-ish equivalent. I use the 16 when I'm in crowds of people up close. Then when the activity is more spread out/across the street-type, I use the 35.

so far the ideal set up for me has been the 16 on one body and the 56 on another body and then the 23 in the bag or on a 3rd body.
either way they fit into my domke f6 bag...
i don't use any non fuji lenses so manual focus means nothing to me...therefore the clutch on the lens has no use to me either...
as to af speed...the slowest set up i have is quicker than me on my own!

I never used it on mine when I owned the 14 and 23 ... Like ... Ever!

The push/pull lenses are far better for manual focussing. No issues mixing between the two lens types as AF is great on the newer fujifilm bodies and there is barely ever a need for MF. just readjust your shooting style slightly. Back button AF has become mostly superfluous for me, and I was a person that used it a lot on my canon 5d/1ds
