Hello, I have bought a Zorki 4, works great but the screw of the flash syncro delay collar was slacken, so I don't know in what position is now actually if 0..15..or 15 miliseconds delay.
I have seen this drawing on http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-58.html but I don't understand well. It means that I have to put the multimeter in "check continuity" and the correct position is when the multimeter sounds..or just the contrary?
Please help me I want to make some shoots with flash tomorrow night and I want to adjust the camera for my electronic flash (0 miliseconds delay).
Thanks!!

Does it spin around just like that, or you just don't feel it having a grip on something?

Simplest way: tighten the screw then turn the setting ring either way as far as it goes. Now slacken the screw and turn the ring to its proper position, then re-tighten the screw. That will certainly get you close to the proper position. Note that the ring (usually) turns a little bit beyond each end of the scale, so you may have to adjust your final position to reflect that.

The collar spins but don't grip the inside mechanism, because the screw was slack

You need an ohm meter to do that. You need it to turn it counter clock wise until the resistance between that and the chassis is 0. Then fix the top, and tighten the flash sync ring at position labeled 0.
