I tried to make my girlfriend come back to film photography by giving her an OM-1n. She likes it and shooting photos with it, but there wasn't much of "spark." She's been sticking with Canon DSLR with my OM glasses.

One day my friend went to Japan and brought back a cute and classy leather neck strap from a specialty camera shop in Jiyugaoka for her. She's now using the OM waaay more often, leaving Canon at home.

Why doesn't Leica come out with a Twilight Vampire edition. Some parts in blood red with Edward Cullen's face on the top. That f****er would sell like hotcakes to young ladies.

Also by Ania, my wife, who kindly asked for an Agfa Isolette with this covering. Seems to be popular with the girls - also the non-blondes. 😉

However: first question was: "Does it take b&w or colour pics?" 😀

Until now, no dark cars around the house. Is that a good sign?

My daughter, blonde, loves hello kitty but it was only really her friends who thought my Leica M2 was so cool: she wanted the OM2n of my father's I promised her. In the end, for her sixteenth birthday, I gave her a Nikon F3HP. Nothing Hello Kitty about that one, and she loves it. That's the way to get these modern 16 year olds in - old technology, big and serious.
