How to mount a straplug to the tripod socket?

Hello photographers,

I am looking for a way to attach a wrist strap to the tripod socket.
There was an item on ebay that looked like a big struplug to screw in but I cant find it anymore.
My focus is on the bigger screw version as used on older Leica models, but the smaller diameter would work aswell.

Hi,

Wrist straps included the tripod screw many years ago; I sometimes see old ones on ebay. Going ¼" to ⅜" just needs an adapter, again ebay is probably the best source.
