How to read subscribed threads on iPhone?

This has been bugging me for quite a while and I bet someone knows how to deal with it...

I subscribe to just a few threads...but they have posts almost every day and many days I have access only via my iPhone.

When I click on the link in the email notice of a new posting, it forces me to click twice "cancel" "cancel" not to open iTunes to the Forum Runner app download page (which is nuts since I actually DO have the app on my iPhone and never use it).

So... is there some forum setting I can use to always open the link in Mobile Safari? Or (not really my choice) is there some way to click on the email link and have it actually LAUNCH Forum Runner to the link I want to view???

My preference would be to block FR altogether but I'll be a happy cowboy with either solved...

I use the Tapatalk app on my phone, it notifies me of new posts in subscribed threads on the home screen, touching that notification takes me straight to that thread.

what happens when you click on a link from an email notification?

It opens the link in the browser with a pop-up over it asking if I want to open it in Tapatalk.
