how to ship a lens?

so i ended up getting some 6x6x6 boxes (quite amazed at how cheap they are from Staples), then filled it with pages from a B&H catalogue, as i don't have newspapers. one lens didn't have a box, so i used some foam (actually underlay for floor), packed into an old watch box. the other lens had its original box, and it fit pretty tightly inside of the styrofoam.

it seems pretty good. i will definitely insure for full value and track it.
