Some time ago I bought (on that big auction site) some 4x5 film holders. Apparently, 4 of them still had film in it (8 sheets). I had no clue if it was exposed or not or maybe holders were opened in the light by the seller. Based on the light trap position it seemed to me the film is exposed (and left unprocessed). Based on the notches I decided it was Fujichrome slide film (I was wrong). I did some E6 processing yesterday for my own film and when I was done (and the developer reached the recommended number of rolls) I decided to do one more run with this unknown film. I expected nothing and got nothing. But, I am still a bit confused - all developed sheets are empty, just some semi transparent dark green color. However, the edge markings are clearly visible and it appeared to be Kodak 160VC. Does the presence of clear edge markings means the film was not exposed? If it was opened in the light would it still contain visible edge markings? I still have two unprocessed sheets, so maybe I can shoot this film ? 🙂
