Jorge, You stopped one sentence short of getting into hot water. But back in the '70's I lived in the "fowl" area of South West Arkansas. There were chicken houses that were devoted to raising hens strictly to go to the laying houses at their maturity. A fresh batch of bitties would arrive and the "sexers" would show up. Each bittie got a gentle rub on the butt to determine its sex. The "sexers" would then weed out the roosters. These folks were usually middle aged, Oriental adults with a bevy of grand children who did the leg work corraling and depositing. It was amazing that so few roosters would get by out of the 15,000 or more candidates.
