Hey, this "Leica Meter 2" just arrived on my desk. I know it's not the greatest, but it was cheap! I was looking for something quick and dirty to augment my paper "cheat sheets," problem is, I...um...don't know where to begin with this li'l guy 🙂

Hey Langdon,

I haven't used your particular meter before, but it looks like it would work the same as any other selenium meter. First thing you do is find the dial that selects the ASA you are using... Make sure it stays as set for future readings with the same speed film! I often run into trouble with this... Then you turn the outer dial until the arrow matches up with the reading from the needle... With any luck the selenium cell is still good and you should be able to read off an accurate shutter speed/aperture combination from the two dials.

Hope that helps!

Peter
