I'm considering to go for a revolting experience : since I fell in love for Kiev cameras, I hardly use my reliable Zorki-4 neither do I use my I61 L/D and its rear lens cap... (Fed5B) ... I still have a roll of pan400 in my Z4, and since I've got an enlarger lens (Meopta Anaret 4.5/105) I was thinking, why not to give a try at taking shots with a fixed enlarger lens ? I guess it will give fuzzy blurry results, but heh, at least I invented the "Zorkographic Society International" concept! Down with LOMO blurry shots!

OK. I'm mad I know that.. sorry! (oh you guys know too??!!) ;)

Max when the mood takes you go with it. It's going to be interesting to see what comes out if anything but that's all part of the fun :D

I've checked this a few ago, the fixed enlarging lens is LTM... i'll have to do "pedestrian RF-adjustment" (walking forward/backward to focus) ;) I'm already crazy about testing this ;)

Forget it. It will indeed be a total waste. The LTM thread on your enlarger lens was merely a de facto standard that enabled it to fit on Leitz enlargers, along with Leitz camera lenses.
But if you stick it on the camera you can bet it will be too close to the film - by several millimeters, like about 20 - and no amount of stopping down will save you. If it were too far from the film at least you could use it as a macro lens, as many enlarger lenses have been, on a bellows.

Or even a tele for that matter!!!! The first tele rig I had was a Zorki-6 with (gasp!) reflex focussing housing, Leica>Pentax adapter, Pentax thread bellows, Penatx>Leica adapter, and a 150mm LTM enlarging lens. I had the room to focus on infinity. Jack the Bear....

I wonder how it'd be to do macro on a RF ;) But I bet it can be mounted as you say on an SLR through an adapter..:) I should try this!

Yes, I've used a Leitz Focotar 50mm enlarging lens on my Pentax bellows for macro shots, and it worked fine. There is probably some specific extension tube that would mount it on an RF body at the right distance for infinity focus...

An interesting thought. I tried using an old video camera wide angle "add on" lens on my Rollei 35T recently, largely as I was given a 24/49 adaptor, and the video camera had been stolen years ago. The results were "lomoesque": very wide, but distorted and not very sharp. It will be interesting to see what your results are like if you decide to accept the assignment.

I think I'll give it a try... the movie's been sitting there since half of august so it's time to give it a final "help" to kick it out of the Z4... 20 frames to go ;)
