How was this done ?!!! ... it is a tough one :-)

It's not a serious crop. The angle of view/depth of field shows 20 or 21mm focal length. Any kind of serious crop would show a telephoto view, even from these lenses. I'd guess shutter speed of 125. A motordrive or motorwinder is quite possible.
 
Agreed--looks like a wide angle at hyperfocal with a small aperture on a sunny day. 21mm at f/16 has a hyperfocal distance of like a meter, with good sharpness from 2 feet to infinity. One less thing to worry about, which looks like a useful principle in this case.
