Yeah, the .58x finder will show the 28mm frame pretty well. The .72x finder is impossible for me to see the 28mm frame in as I'm an eyeglasses wearer. Of course, it's the whole finder window so it doesn't really matter too much I guess. I've always had to guess at where the frame edges are or use a 28mm shoe mounted finder with decent eye relief for composition.

the 0.58x finder is a godsend to shoot 35/28 with glasses.

I wear glasses, and I can see the 28mm Framelines on my .58 bodies at least as well as I can see the 35mm framelines on my .72 bodies. Which is to say that I with my eye held centered, I don't see all the way to the corners; but I can see the edges well enough to line up the verticals in an architectural shot. And if I have time to shift my eye just a little, I can see out to the corners.
So the .58 finder is quite useable with glasses with the 28mm lens.
