How would I make my cam smell better?

You can eliminate cat pee by putting him/her in a dishwasher for a couple of hrs.

As for smelly cameras, one fix is to wipe it, inside and out, with a rag sprayed with WD40 (or turpentine). Then wipe the excess...repeatedly. This also works with smelly dogs and your Uncle Fred.

Manly men shoot rangefinders, carry duct tape, Vise Grips, and WD40 at all times.

I always give my used cameras an immediate wipe-down with a paper towel moistened with 91% iso alcohol: evaporates quicky and leaves no residue. Also a great way to turn light seals to mush so be careful around the camera back and the (heresey!) mirror.

I'm glad to report that after leaving the cam in a large ziploc bag with a couple of fabric softener sheets, the foul smell is virtually gone only after 2 days, I'll be leaving it for another day just to make sure.

Thanks for that effective suggestion.
