So I'm going to Ecuador (Quito and Galapagos) and Peru (Lima,Cuzco and Inca Trail) in October. What is the light like this time of year? I'm trying to decide which color slide film to bring: Provia 100F, Sensia 100 or Velvia 100F. If the light is high contrast I'm worried the Velvia won't give me as much exposure latitude as the others, but I do like the color.
Last time I was in that part of the world it was probably around February and I remember it being mostly overcast. This was about nine years ago and I made the mistake of shooting Konica chrome. I guess I don't have to worry about making that mistake again!
Thanks for any insight.

I can't advise you on which film for what light, but I can tell you I am very envious. Enjoy, and I'm looking forward to seeing your photos.

Thanks! I've been planning this trip for almost 10 years so of course I'm over-thinking the film issue, but I want to get it right.
