I've been using SPUR HRX3 with HP5+ @ 250asa, I'm still new to home dev so not fully tuned in yet on how to get the best out of a neg, but it gives results I quite like.

I shoot a lot of HP5. At 650, I use Microphen 1+3 and long developement time to tame the contrast. At 400, I use ID-11 at 1:1 for noce mid tones.

Pulling HP5 to 320 using the HC-110/Rodinal cocktail seems to be something interesting to explore and add to my pallet. Thanks for the thread.

Perceptol at 200-250 is also interesting. What are the times and dilutions for each speed? Thanks in advance.

I use HP5+ rated at ei 250 in Perceptol stock or at box speed in Prescysol EF and it's hard to beat.

Hmmm.... a Rodinal/HC-110 mix. I've always wondered about that myself. Does it give a slight increase in film speed over straight Rodinal?

Not that I can really tell, Ty. Although I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the most technical photographer around...
