Should be in the Bronica RF forum, I know. Brain is not functioning properly at all today. Feel drunk - but not drinking.

Hi, I hust joined the forum, although I have been reading it for a while.
I have the RF645 and 65mm and 45mm lenses, and would love the 100mm, (and possibly the RF20 flash), but I notice the price here is already $620, with 17 hours to go. I think this is going to get expensive. I'm going to have to have a pause before spending any more on camera gear.

buy it. They REGULARLY go for over $800. I saw one go for $1200 last month. Buy it and if things get rough, you can always sell it for more than you paid. It is the most beautifu lens I've ever used. It hasn't been off my camera since I bought it. Really looking forward to doing some Infrared portraits wide open with it. Softness abound.

I see this one finally went for $860 -- a somewhat more reasonable price than the $1,200 paid for another one recently on eBay. So Shutterflower is right. Over $800 seems to be the going rate these days.

So, why does this lens have such nice out of focus? Is it because the lens has that limiting "aperture" in there that is perfectly round? Then instead of having to bring the light through some polygon at wide open, it's coming through a perfectly circular opening. Like the miracle iris.

I thought mine was expensive when I paid £450. I'm increasingly glad I paid out when I did. The £50 for a mint flash must have been a bargin!
(Thinks - must get out and take more photos...)
