On eBay, item #270076292865, under $350, great price for a fantastic lens (I have one and simply love it). Just an FYI.

The seller mentiones it may not be 100% compatible with Leica M (and thus probably Bessa M mount ...), particularily at close distances.
DO you think guys it is indeed the situation ?

Compatibility

Compatibility

I've used it on the R-D1 and a couple of M-bodies, without so far any problems.

With the Leica M bodies 100%

With the Leica M bodies 100%

and the RD1. No idea about the Bessas.

What hofrench says - an absolute red herring. If it scares off other buyers all the better for you alexz! :)

hofrench - that is a stunning photograph. Although you describe it in terms of the lens above I would venture to say that it is your eye that is the key. Congratulations!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Perpetuate the Puts' Myth among the unknowing. It keeps the prices down! My 28mm M-Hexanon works famously on my M5. If I didn't have a nice 50 DR Summicron I would be all over a 50mm M-Hexanon.

Edit to add: The seller seems to have learned his lens testing from the source of the Myth.
