Yikes! That is 3X what I paid for mine on eBay, and mine had the locking tab!

Wow, you have one of the "CT" examples? Cool, I've never seen one on offer before. (Not that I'd buy it, as I'm not really a collector and I have no Contax bodies.)

It is not worth so much money.

It is a tiny little lens, with the lower contrast typical of many 1950s lenses.
Note the wide lens lock in the lower right- it really sticks out.

Peter K's book states that about 342 were made, probably starting with serial number 10000, so mine is apparently the fifteenth one made. The lowest serial number that Peter has on record is 10009.
