I sure hope you're right, Raid, b/c I'm looking for this lens, but not at that price! I've also noticed that prices on the Canon 35/2 are creeping up towards $500... 😱

Thanks, Ari. It's the Canon 35/1.8 I'm interested in. I should have read the heading in the thread more carefully... I already have the 50/1.8 and think it's a terrific lens (and just said so again on another thread 🙂).
