There's a Canon 50mm .95 for sale at theSqueakyShutter.net. I am a regular there and know the seller on that forum - otherwise no interest in the sale.

It needs a bit of work, it seems - but most people seem to send out these lenses to be converted anyway, a CLA as part of that might not be too much hassle - but I don't really know anything about this lens.

I sent you a PM Anupam....

Hello - It is I who has the Canon F1/0.95 lens for sale. Let me tell you the whole story.

The rear lens coating is in shambles, blemished over 100% of the surface. Why, I would not be surprised if the forward-facing surface of the rear lens cell was in the same horrible condition. I suspect it got this way from first having thumb prints on it, then it was left on a TV camera for maybe 30 years in a damp basement.

And it's the TV F1/.095 so that it won't mount on any Canon body and focus properly - the rearmost lens is not cut to clear the RF lever. And it has no C-Mount to attach it to a movie or video camera. Well, actually it does but someone cut the threads off. I'm keeping that part to make a rear lens cap for the good F1/0.95 lenses.

Further, the Canon bay-mount has been removed and is in a separate container. I suppose you could re-assemble it, but I see no reason to. It would only add a little more weight and shorten the distance you could throw it away.

The front element looks good except for an insignificant tiny ding of maybe .1 millimeter. Fill it in with black marker. Or not. Heck, ya can't use the lens anyway.

I might, just MIGHT keep it after I check the XL-2 adapters later today. It could be an awesomely fast soft-focus lens for digital video. Dreamy non-quality stuff. Maybe the Magic Marriage Movie lens. Or a POS. Same thing.

Regardless of all the good things I've written about this lens, there is no way in heck to mount it to a camera that works.

I'd post a picture of it but none of those I've done show this lens' true shabby condition.

So, I hope I have not gone overboard with the sales hype.
