HU --> FREE dxo pack 3 plugin

The interesting thing about the Salgado 'Genesis' project is despite the convoluted workflow you can clearly see the difference between the earlier shots and the ones shot on digital and processed DXO
From what I saw at the exhibition in London could be seen by almost anyone, and many people I've spoken to also noticed.

I see that it was pushed as "This workflow lets him shoot digital images that look identical to his film images" when they plainly don't.

Whist still lovely in their own way they aren't identical, possibly similar in some respects but not identical as in the market speak.

Still waiting for a license key 12 hours after download... And it's not in my junk mail folder.

Tried with a dfferent and still no luck. Sent a request to their support team and they are working on getting a key to me, but they did acknowledge the spam filter issue. Anyone else using Comcast have the problem?

At lest I can use it in trial mode...

Ran a few photos through various filters. Goal wasn't so much to emulate the specific film types but to give the images a look closer to the film images I shoot. Basically to beat them up a bit:

Thanks for the link! :D
Downloading it now, activation code received in no time.
Can I use the same link for more than 1 computer?

I'm in absolute agreement Margus, these presets don't look like anything like film. I challenge anyone to take side by side shots with say Velvia and a DSLR post the film to your lab, and work the DXO preset for your digital files then upload them to Flickr. Then a week later scan your film and upload that-compare...
Utterly ridiculous, not even a wax fruit quality and one that wouldn't fool anyone.

Does anyone actually think Provia gives magenta skies?

If film does go or die, what will be left with is just joke snake oil?

Hear hear...

The Velvia 50 manipulations I have seen don't remind me anything at all of Velvia let alone cheap drugstore film either.

Received a license key via the support ticket, so if anyone is still waiting for a key - submit a support ticket.

There must be something odd about their license key email to be caught in so many people's spam filters. Same story on other forums.

First it was labeled spam by my email server... When freed from there it landed in my mail application's spam folder. So check thoroughly!
